More about Matthew Mole & his new album:
Matthew Mole is back with a profound new single “Let Me” from his upcoming album titled “Ghost”, which is scheduled for release on the 19th of September through Universal Music. A young and loveably free-spirited instrumentalist and singer, through “Let Me” he continues to delve even deeper into his most personal thoughts on love, relationships and vulnerability.
In his own words, the single “is a song about looking past our selfishness, to love one another. In this song I talk about how we can walk together, dream together and love each other unconditionally”. The video for the track (directed by Alastair Thomas) draws fans closer to Matthew’s fears about confronting one’s insecurities and his aspirations regarding interpersonal relationships, a fundamental concept addressed in his new album “Ghost”.
Down-to-earth and humble, this Capetonian star achieved instant success with his debut album which made him the first local musician to blast straight to number one on the iTunes album chart. Add to this multiple sold out shows, over 54,000 subscribers plus more than 20 million views on YouTube, over 31 million career streams (36% being Apple Music), Platinum Status in South Africa for the track “Take Yours, I’ll Take Mine” and several nominations at the SAMAs, it is clear that Matthew has found the road to stardom. His last album “Run” debuted at number 1 on the iTunes Chart on release day, so get ready for a powerful return from this modest yet unstoppable muso.
