Get ready for a thrilling celebration of Extreme Sport as the Cape Town Pro returns for an action-packed 10-day event from March 14th to 24th, 2025. Set against the stunning backdrops of Llandudno, Camps Bay, and Hout Bay, this year’s festival promises to be bigger and better, showcasing a diverse range of sports and athletes from all over South Africa.
The Cape Town Pro is an iconic event, drawing in locals and visitors alike to experience the energy of South Africa’s beautiful culture and surroundings. This year the event will be showcasing Bodyboarding and Skateboarding, inviting both rising and pro athletes to compete for the title of Cape Town Pro.
Event Dates:
March 14 – 24, 2025
(10-day event window, weather permitting)
In addition to the sporting events, the Cape Town Pro will offer large cash prizes, unlike any other events in these fields, ensuring that the competition is fierce and the performances are spectacular. Whether you’re a participant or a spectator, the event promises unforgettable moments, vibrant beach culture, and plenty of fun under the sun.
Every event has a heart beat and the heart of this year in-terms of development and education is focusing on the EYETHU Project in Hout Bay, who look after our children in the community encouraging them to go to school and disciplining them through the sport of Skating. We also will do an educational for children and young adults from the communities and educate them on ocean safety and preservation, hopefully making a difference in the very high cases of drownings and plastic littering on our beaches during season.
Please note: What separates a rising rider from a pro rider, is whether they have competed as a pro in the last 5 years or not. No One is allowed to take part in the rising category that has competed as a pro in the last 5 years.
There is a Window Period from 14 - 24 March 2025 to take into account any adverse weather conditions
R 70 000.00 in PRIZES including CASH PRIZE MONEY
