Slow Clothing Exchange is based on the idea of a classic "Sip & Swap" where women get together to have a glass of wine and thrift their wardrobes.
We want to be kind to the environment by "slowing" down fashion and providing women with the opportunity to find new treasures whilst letting go of the old ones.
This event is female founded, organized, and run with the goal to be inclusive and empower all women through their clothing.
No under 18s
Please make yourself familiar with the following procedures for a successful evening:
x All clothing should be checked and washed prior to the event.
x Please bring your clothes in a shopping bag without hangers (unless you would like to donate or get rid of your hangers).
x There will be a donation box should you wish to donate additional clothes that cannot be swapped. This will then be donated to charity.
You may only arrive with a MAXIMUM of 10 items!
x As you arrive, your ticket will be checked and you will be handed you a "SIP SLIP" which will be exchanged for a complimentary glass of red or white wine before or during the shopping.
x Wine, water and cooldrinks will be on sale at the Create bar thereafter.
x Your clothing will be categorized BEFORE the event and tickets (basic/ inbetweener/ baller) will be given to you.
x If you have redeemable tickets from the previous event, we will issue these to you.
