Need Analysis For Ekurhuleni Drop In Centre. Date: 27 June 2024. To Whom It May Concern. The Ekurhuleni Drop in Centre is situated at Acornhoek, one of the designted presidential "poverty nodes" in the country. The unemployment rate is estimated at 75%-80%. The area is fraught with many socio-economic and health problems due to rise of informal settlements around the business area. This has given rise to many deaths caused by HIV and AIDS, TB and other related diseases. Many Children became orphans and street kids who indulge in criminal activities such as theft, due to lack of food and care. The centre is presently taking care of 140 orphans and vulnerable children. We therefore kindly request assistence in the following: 1. Court yard maintenance. 2. 5 x soccer balls. 3. 5 x net balls. 4. 3 x volley balls. 5. 2 x one set of First aid kits. 6. 1 x brash cutter machine. 7. 1 x vehicle bakkie to transport kids to the hospital and collect food from donors and/or shops. 8. Sanitary pads. 9. 1 x kitchen sink mixer. 10. 1 x kitchen contour 25L plastic bin. 11. 2 x outdoor 240l wheel bin. 12. 2 x box black pens. 13. 2 x Stapler. 14. 50 x 72 pages books. 15. 20 x 2 quire books. 16. 20 x rulers. 17. 20 x Pencil Box.
