How do I Top Up?

Purchase the pre determined voucher credit. You will receive a confirmation email and tickets and you’re all set! Collect your pre-loaded wristband when you arrive at the 'Online Topup Redemption' station near the entrance of the event.
Where do I collect my wristband?
All jazz fans will get their wristband via the 'Online Topup Redemption' station or the customer service areas.
Can I bring Cash/Card to the event?
If it’s to topup your wristband, bring it on! Cape Town International Jazz Festival will be 100% cashless, your wristband will serve as your payment method, when buying food, drinks or merchandise.
We strongly suggest to top up online.
Can I use my phone to pay?
Considering you still have battery and there are no network issues when there are thousands of people. There is no need for your phone.
Our cashless system run 100% offline so in downtime we can still transact. You can bring your Cashless voucher on your phone to redeem your wristband.
Our website is mobile friendly. TopUp online at the ease of your fingertips.
What happens to the money left on my band?
All funds left on wristbands are kept for you to Cashout for a period of 4 weeks.
You can Cashout from as soon as the Wednesday after the event. Cashouts are done online via howler.co.za.
Enable ‘Auto-Cashout’ on your Howler profile to have your leftover money automatically credited back into your account! Or, visit our website and Cashout yourself, it’s that easy!
What happens if I forget to Cashout?
Simply contact our support team on team@howler.co.za. One of our support agents will be more than happy to help you get your money back! It is yours after all.
What happens if I lose my wristband?
It will be unlikely as once its on the only way to get it off, is to cut it. If its bothering you or too tight. No problem. Find the nearest Topup or Customer Support station. Your wristband will be replaced any funds will be transferred to your new one.
Is there an extra fee?
There is a small convenience once off fee of R10 per wristband and R5 to cashout online. Better than waiting in Q’s and not being able to transact when the network goes down.
