For over 21 years, the UNESCO Waterberg Biosphere Reserve has been a place and space of ancient beauty and untouched wilderness. At the Bundu Bush, you will be able hike, bike or run in this stunning area. You may want to enjoy the entire weekend in the stunning Bushveld, just participate in the challenge itself, enjoying a heart lunch afterwards, or perhaps simply join us in style for the elegant gala dinner. Only two hours from Johannesburg, this event offers the perfect weekend escape, and allows you to be part of a truly worthy cause!
As a registered Non-profit Organisation, the Waterberg Biosphere is officially proclaimed by UNESCO, and other international bodies worldwide consider it a leader and agent of biodiversity conservation and improved human livelihoods. It is also fully endorsed by the Limpopo provincial and SA National government.
Like any NPO, Biosphere is responsible for raising its own funds to keep the good work going. And what better way to raise funds, than to invite people to come and have fun in our exquisite Biosphere itself.
All funds raised will be used for operational functions of the Waterberg Biosphere, and additionally will contribute to the support of other community led and driven projects that take place in the Biosphere.
