For the past few months teams from across the country have been working alongside Iziko Museums & UCT's CCA (Centre for Curating the Archives) to create immersive films for the 1st Digital-Dome film festival in the Southern Hemisphere.
With limited seating last weekend at the debut, we present to you a public screening for 3 experimental short films - 'Inside Out', 'Reflectance' & 'Animortis'.
Join us for an exhibition-style evening at the Octopi & I where attendees will be able to experience the films in VR, supported by a IAS vinyl soundscape & Delheim wine tasting led by the notorious math professor & connoisseur, Peter-Bishop.
*Tickets grant entrance & include a complimentary glass of wine by Delheim.
**This is a public event and we encourage anyone interested in or working with traditional and/or immersive art forms to attend and to bring their friends & colleagues along for an explorative evening into the potentials of immersive media.
***More details to be announced on the Facebook event! ☘
