Move Your Body for Good is an online Yoga class in aid of SMEs, Charities and NPOs affected by the Covid-19 lock-down. Your donation is your ticket to class with MBAYogini. MBAYogini has raised R150 000 in donations for 10 different beneficiaries so far!
The Bulungula Incubator is located in one of the poorest and most remote regions in South Africa with no access to running water, electricity, healthcare, or adequate road infrastructure. Furthermore, they have a high concentration of persons with chronic illnesses and compromised immune systems, that make them particularly vulnerable to the Coronavirus.
Since President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the National State of Disaster, the Bulungula Incubator has focused all efforts to COVID-19 response. The National Lockdown instated, required all learners to stay home. School closures have been important to control the spread of the virus, however, prolonged closures have disproportionately affected vulnerable learners. Most of our learners do not have access to technology to assist with remote learning. In response, the Bulungula Incubator is supplying smart technologies for learners in order to keep engaged and continue learning while at home. Additionally, with the phased re-opening of our schools, we are working diligently to support our learners in catch-up education plans while keeping them healthy. Your donations will support our COVID-19 response, and specifically, our education programmes in order to catch-up our learners!
Class is at 10 am on Saturday. Don't worry if you have never done yoga before or if you are a yogi extraordinaire. MBAYogini's classes are guided so that there is something for everyone.
