Sustain the livelihoods of the Ekasi Project Green farming team, their families and the sustainability of the farm
Ekasi Project Green is a community organic farming project on the grounds of the Vuzamanzi Primary School in Kayelitsha, Cape Town. Their produce is sold to independent food suppliers, like Pure Good Food.
Since lock-down they have been unable to farm and purchase seedlings, and have set up a feeding scheme to help feed the children in the community. Each day children bring their bowls to be filled with a meal.
The team at Ekasi Project Green and the farming project are the beneficiaries of your donations this week. The money raised goes straight into their hands to sustain their livelihood and rebuild their farming operation during and after lock-down.
