SAFETY & AFTERDROP

Safety note: things can happen very quickly in cold water, therefore our NSRI life guards will be watching your every stroke. When you have completed your swim, dry quickly, dress warmly and enjoy a hot cup of Jozi Java.

☆ What is the afterdrop? It is the phenomenon of your body temperature continuing to drop even after you get out of cold water and into a warmer environment - so that you feel colder for 10 or 40 minutes after you exit than you did in the water.
