South Africa’s first warm water ocean event of its kind, entirely for charity! Swim 1, 4, 8 or 16 miles, or up to six individual 1 mile events. This event is entirely for charity with all the funds going to 14 NGOs (see Charities Page on website for details).
Day One
Event 1 07h30 – 08h45 (Race for 71 & over and Disabled, and start of 8, 16 & 4 Mile)
Event 2 08h45 – 10h00 (Race for 61 – 70 years)
Event 3 10h00 – 11h15 (Race for 51 – 60 years, and 2nd event for 4 Milers)
Event 4 11h15 – 12h30 (Race for 41 – 50 years)

Event 5 07h30 – 08h45 (Race for 31 – 40 years, and 3rd event for 4 Milers)
Event 6 08h45 – 10h00 (Race for 21 – 30 years)

Swimmers only need to enter their age-category event if they are competing for their age-group medal. Non-competitive swimmers are welcome to choose any of the events to participate in.
Swim 4 miles on Day 1 (Saturday 14th June) and 4 miles on Day 2 (Sunday 15th June). Monday 16th is a contingency day if conditions are poor on either the 14th or the 15th.
